Deputy Principal Statement

I am delighted to welcome you to Baptist Girls High School. I can assure you it’s the right place to be if you are looking for academic excellence. Discipline has been a major success factor in our academic progress. My office will seek to continue instilling high-level discipline among our learners.

Our long-term target is to churn out law-abiding and God-fearing citizens. The disciplinary Committee under the Deputy Principal is responsible for carrying out the following duties;

1. To enforce school rules and regulations to enhance academic performance.
2. To device measures that will help the students to avoid and shun any engagement in activities that breach discipline.
3. To review school rules and regulations in line with the ever-changing social needs of the students and the ministry of education’s policy directives.
4. To enhance good behavioral patterns
5. To hear and decide disciplinary matters related to alleged violations of the School rules and regulations.
6. To execute disciplinary procedures on the students that may engage themselves in any kind of behavior that is contrary to the provision of rules and regulations.
7. To review and recommend changes in the school rules and regulations in collaboration with key stakeholders.
8. To enhance discipline of students based on Basic Moral Foundations of care, fairness/ justice, respect, purity and sanctity.
9. To embrace open-door policy on issues of student discipline and corrective measures in enhancing positive behavior change.
